Signing in

There are no passwords. Enter your email address on the sign-in page and we'll send you a link and a six-digit code. Use either one within 15 minutes. The first time you sign in, this creates your account.

If you've installed the app on an iPhone or iPad, type the code into the app rather than opening the link: the link signs in Safari, not the app.

Passkeys

Once you're signed in, open Account and choose Add a passkey. From then on you can sign in with Face ID, a fingerprint or your device PIN, using Sign in with a passkey. You can remove a passkey from the same page.

Installing the app

On iPhone or iPad, open the app in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android or a desktop browser, use Install in the browser's menu.

Using it offline

Pages you've opened while signed in work without a connection. Anything you write offline is kept on your device and sent when you're back online. A note that couldn't be sent shows why, with Retry and Discard.

Use it from Claude or ChatGPT

Riffle is a connector: you add it once, and your AI chat uses it when you ask. You need this address:

https://riffle.ultraniche.ai/mcp

It is for your AI chat to use, not a page to open in your browser.

Claude

  1. On claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app, open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Choose +, then Add custom connector.
  3. Give it the name Riffle, paste the address into the URL field, leave Advanced settings empty and choose Add.
  4. Choose Connect. Claude opens the Riffle sign-in page: enter your email address, then the six-digit code sent to it.
  5. Start a new chat and ask. If Claude doesn't use Riffle, open the + menu under the message box, choose Connectors and turn Riffle on.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT adds connectors through developer mode, on the web only. Business, Enterprise and Edu plans can use every tool; Pro can use only the ones that read. In a workspace, an admin turns developer mode on, or allows you to.

  1. In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Back in Apps, choose Create. Give it the name Riffle, paste the address and choose OAuth.
  3. Choose Scan Tools. ChatGPT opens the Riffle sign-in page: enter your email address, then the six-digit code sent to it. Then choose Create.
  4. Riffle is now under Settings, Apps, marked Dev. Start a new chat and ask.

Your AI chat sees what your account holds, and nothing of anyone else's. To disconnect it, remove the connector in your AI chat's settings.

Signing out

Signing out clears this device's offline copies, so the next person to use it can't read them.
